Julie Garfield is an award winning actress, who came to
painting later in her life.
She is the daughter of the legendary actor, John Garfield,
who was Black Listed in the 1950s, and died as a result.
She studied at The New York Studio School, The Art Students League and The New York Academy. She also studied with Kirsten Deirup, Sherry Camhy, Robert Cenedella, Stephen Assael and Vincent Desiderio.
